The only reason this is being mentioned is because weve had bedframes that required a physics and engineering degree to assemble. The delivery peeps assembled our bed upon delivery but we had to disassemble and assemble the bed when we moved to our new home. Two of the slats come with legs to help support the weight of the box spring mattress humans and pups. The wood slats are screwed down to the side bases of the frame. We chose the fabric in Otter as we have pups that think they own the household (truthfully they do).We chose to put a box spring on top of the wood slat supports as we prefer a high bed. Its easy to clean I usually use a damp wash cloth to keep any dust from accumulating.The only reason I can not give this bed a 5 star rating is due to the wood slat and the fact that I had to return it a couple of times.
Additional fees may apply outside of the standard service zone. I find myself rubbing on it to put me to sleep some nights. Delivery is included to our standard service zone. I love the feel and touch of the fabric on my bed. Any noise coming from anything I own irritates me. Ive tightened the screws a couple of times but theyre still squeaky and I hate the noise.
After about a year or so Im having an issue with the wood slats underneath my bed. Third bed arrived about 6 weeks later and it was in much better condition. I throughly inspected this one and sent it back immediately. Second bed arrives and its in worse condition than the first. However I called Z Gallerie and they agreed to have it exchanged. After a day or so I noticed a few of the nail head pins were coming out! I was heartbroken because I knew I had signed for the bed and agreed to the delivery. After delivery I was so excited with my bed and other items I neglected to fully inspect my bed. My delivery was roughly 2 months however the delivery company was good with fitting the delivery into my schedule which is extremely important for me. Ive been happy with it for nearly 2 years now. I stalked Z Gallerie website until a sale then purchased this fabulous bed. Had a visit to Z Gallerie with a friend and saw this bed and immediately fell in love with it.
